D'n Ossebock | Prize winner Bockbier
A traditional bottom-fermenting bock, that's D'n Ossebock (7% alcohol). D'n Ossebock gets its deep red colour and rich flavour because of the caramelised and roasted malts. D'n Ossebock is also slightly hopped, giving it a very mild bitter taste.
This beautiful bock beer was first brewed in 2012 and was the first seasonal beer of the Muifel brewery. In the meantime, the range has grown to five different seasonal beers. With tones of caramel, dark bread, toffee and toasted nuts, D'n Ossebock is a beautiful bock beer that is very easy to drink.
This is Muifels autumn pride. In 2016 and 2018 (there was no competition in 2017), D'n Ossebock was named the Best Bock Beer in the Netherlands. This prize was awarded at the largest and oldest beer festival in the Netherlands, The PINT Bockbierfestival in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.
