A unique specialty beer will be available from November 2020: the Brabantse Hoppenbier.
At the moment this is the only beer that is brewed 100% with Brabant hops.
The beer is brewed by the Osse Muifel brewery.
The hops come from a new hop plantation in Wilbertoord, BrabantHop, owned by Giel Bongers.
Giel took the step in the spring of 2020 to start with a 4000 m2 hop field and 18 hop varieties.
This hop beer is brewed with Centennial and Cascade. Considerable amounts of hops have been used (8 kg per 1000 liters), so expect a strong, bitter hop taste.
